On 21 November 2024 (Thursday) at 17:30 will be opened the fourth personal exhibition in Dobrich Art Gallery of Veneta Gancheva. The exhibition will present paintings of the Dobrich artist.

Veneta Gancheva states about her art: “With the help of painting, abstract forms and structures I want to influence on the visitor’s sub-consciousness, causing feelings and emotions that have inspired me in the course of work.

My works are a tracery of sand and acryl. The sand is collected from the sea or river shore. Its particles have captured the memories from the places and the emotions I have experienced during different trips. The acryl paint gives me opportunity to braid sand structures and intense colors in my artworks.”

The artist was born on 21 November 1977 in Dobrich.

In 2005 she graduates from Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” in textile and fashion design and fashion management in prof. V. Ovcharov’s class.

Member of “Atelier 13”- Dobrich in 2005.

She has nine personal and many joint exhibitions.

She was awarded the following prizes:

2010 – Badge of honor and diploma for contribution in the spiritual development of Dobrich and artistic achievements for the exhibition “Structure Form Color”

2012 – Nomination in “Painting” category on regional exhibition “ALIANZ BULGARIA – Varna

2016 – Nomination in “Painting” category on regional exhibition “ALIANZ BULGARIA – Varna

2023 – Certificate for Best painting of „Beogradski Biennial” – Serbia
