At 5:30 p.m. on April 20, 2023 (Thursday) the PRINT NEST studio’s exhibition “Fight” will be opened in Dobrich Art Gallery.
The studio was founded in 2012 by four like-minded people, and a little later the group became до five – Zoran Mishe, Goran Trichkovski, Vasil Angelov, Pavel Tselkoski and Ivan Mateev. For them, graphics is a need and a way of expression, they share similar creative visions in developed topics and work techniques. They are not afraid of changes and share the results with the public through dozens of general and individual exhibitions. According to Zoran Mishe, the studio also owes its success to the open, informal and non-restrictive format. Typical for “Print Nest” is the lightness and constant experimentation with the means of expression, small circulation, stories provoked by everyday life, music, game.
Studio Print Nest, with the exhibition “Fight” in the gallery “MKC” Skopje. The process of creation is a struggle. From the birth of the idea and trying to control it to the moment you realize you don’t have much control over what happens. The struggle with technology, time, planned and unexpected events, emotions that accompany the author in the process of creation. The internal struggle not to throw away everything you’ve done so far. The questions that arise – “Why do we have to fight?”, Why don’t we go with the flow?“ The struggle to resist the temptation to start something new. Print Nest is a studio where artists in love with graphics are gathered. The studio has collected different characters, people with different abilities and attitudes towards life, but with a common starting point. With the traditional graphic techniques they use, they create shapes and spaces, states, thoughts and feelings. The contemporary sound of the Graphic Sheets is enhanced by the actuality of the problems, concerned in them. Each of the authors uses a different approach and format as a means of expression, which emphasizes the thematic diversity in their works.
