The Night of Museums became a holiday in Dobrich Art Gallery. In the afternoon, ”The Workshop for Imagination” was transformed into a puppet theater stage and the puppets came to life in the hands of Elisaveta Kachuleva and the young guests. The children listened with interest to how to make puppets for the theater, how to paint sets and what is the role of costumes and music in a puppet show. They had the opportunity to play the roles of their favorite fairy tale characters and then make their own animal masks with which they proudly left the workshop.
The evening continued with a concert of romantic music performed by the soprano Dona Stoyanova and guitarist Milen Tomov. The hall was packed and the audience heard songs and arias by various Western European composers from the Baroque and Renaissance eras. Dona Stoyanova expressed her joy of the restoration of the traditional European Night of Museums, which celebrates the importance of European art worldwide.
The guests of the concert enriched their evening cultural program by viewing the permanent exposition and the temporary exhibition “The Poster” by Lyudmil Chekhlarov with exhibits from the donation made by the artist to our gallery.
On the European Night of Museums Art Gallery – Dobrich was visited by hundreds of residents and guests of our city.
