In the presence of many guests and friends, Lyuba Tomova opened her next solo exhibition “Asocial about the Social” in Dobrich Art Gallery. The posters are designed for plays, opera performances, social events and projects, and show the artist’s view on topics especially relevant today. Visitors to Hall 1 can see posters of Shakespeare’s “Othello”,” Macbeth”, “Taming of the Shrew”, Cervantes’s “Don Quixote”, Verdi’s “Rigoletto” and Bizet’s “Carmen”, as well as posters dedicated to human trafficking, domestic violence, hunger, etc .
Lyuba Tomova was born in Sofia in 1975. She graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts, majoring in Poster. Works in the field of poster and applied graphics, co-founder of graphic design studio Poster House. She has participated in numerous poster forums and won a number of graphic design awards. She is a member of the New Vision International Group, Graphic Design Section at the Union of Bulgarian Artists and the Bulgarian Chamber of Designers.
